I thought this one was going to go up late, but looking at the clock, it's only eighteen minutes past midnight, so I barely made it! While I don't promise a comic by midnight, I try reeeeally hard to do it (although if it comes down to posting a crappy comic on time or a good one a little late, I'll choose late!) Interestingly enough, most people don't even check the site on Wednesdays so I suppose I don't have to be so anal, but I like being organized :) I'm flying solo here tonight since my coding ninja is asleep, so let's see if I can post this without destroying the internet shall we!
You can see I've decided to go back to my old style. To be honest, I wanted to change it up a bit because I got a few complaints that my webcomic too closely resembled the look of someone else's, but after last week I decided, who cares? Just because I happen to have a drawing style similar to someone else shouldn't mean I have to change. It'd be like asking two people with the same handwriting that one of them would have to swap to cursive indefinitely. So I've gone back to what comes natural, and I'm quite pleased.
Looks like a bit of storyline is going to actually take place here...I know I had intended for the comic to be only one-shot jokes but sometimes you just can't help it. Plus, I feel a little character development is in order...and there's no rule out there that says slice-of-life and one-shots can't mix! So hopefully you'll all bear with me and enjoy where everything is going...
