I absolutely love the look on Alice's face in the second panel...boy is she pissed! Now I'll just sit back and wait for the nitpicky emails complaining that she's lost ten pounds since last week and seems to have adorned a pair of skinny jeans...

I decided that my bangs need to be blue. Unfortunately my hair doesn't bleach too well...the lightest I can go is bright yellow because my natural colour is too dark. But wishful thinking led me to believe:

my brainsmarts
--------------------                  = NOT green.
yellow hair + blue dye

Unfortunately I was never any good at math, and my plan failed. But I dyed in some more blue last night, which fixed it. To tell the truth, I actually miss the green! If Special Effects weren't $12 a bottle, I'd head out and get some green dye now! But I barely used any of the blue dye I have, so I'd feel wasteful if I went out and bought a new colour without using up what I've got...(You all know the feeling. Waste not. We can blame our mothers for this!)

Just a heads up, for those of you who aren't signed up with the newsletter , Threadless is doing a $10 shirt sale on everything from now until Monday. Needless to say, I spent the money I was saving for a lip piercing on t-shirts instead. After all, I'm tired of wearing Roy's raggedy old Linux shirts. I get hit on by WAY too many geeks when I wear those (and not the cute ones, either. The unkempt, smelly ones that give the rest of us a bad name. For shame!) That, and I'm sure Roy will appreciate it; I always seem to choose the shirt that he was going to wear...

On a side note, yesterday I took the test to get my learner's permit. (Yes, my learner's permit. Shut up). Unfortunately, I've never read the manual and I know literally nothing about road rules, so I tried my best to decide what I personally would do in each hypothetical situation. Well, if you miss 7 answers, you fail. I missed 7 answers. (since when is it legal to drive in Idaho without a seat belt? Were those questions even up to date???). BAH! I was pissed. I mean, I'm going to be 22 this Tuesday, and I still don't even know which pedal is which! *sigh* I've had a zillion random people offer teach me since I graduated from high school, but unfortunately it was out of verbal courtesy rather than sincere intentions. I know it sounds like a lousy excuse, but once college started, as badly as I wanted to learn, I never had the time or the money. Thank God for boyfriends that you can rope into pretty much teaching you anything. I'd be completely computer illiterate if it weren't for Roy! Seriously, the first time we met, I was complaining about having to store everything on zip disks and he asked me, "What size is your harddrive?" I answered, "Um, I don't know. It says 1.99GB. Why? Is that bad?" OMFG hell yes it was bad!!!

Welp, that's it from me! I'll see you all next week, one year closer to my inevitable death! :D
