No comic this week, sorry. I've been working on making some prints for the upcoming shop and thought I'd post my first go and see what you all thought. The print of Alice is still in vague sketches at the moment, but it'll be finished by the next scheduled update. None of this piece is photographed, by the way, the background was made using about a billion layers of different Photoshop textures merged together in various opacities and gradients. The clouds were where I cheated, however. I used a custom-made Photoshop brush for those! Looks rather spiffy though, doesn't it? I'm not very skilled with Photoshop yet, so I'm wicked pleased with the results of this.
And I can definitely say, no, this isn't going to be the new colouring style, this was just done specially for the print. Doing a comic in this fashion would take ages!

Also, I'm thinking about creating a fanart section on the site if people would be interested in submitting anything. If you haven't seen it yet, Lore from SideKick Girl has done us our first piece of fanart! Call me overly excitable, but I thought it was brilliant. The new section probably won't be up for a couple of weeks what with preparing for the PiHouse expo at the Co-op coming up, but if anyone is interested in submitting anything, you can email it to miya(at)suchrubbish(dot)com.
