Q: First things first. How do you pronounce your name?
A: It's often mistaken for 'my-uh', but it's actually pronounced 'mee-uh'. If you bump into me on the street and you pronounce my name right, you get a cookie.
Q: How often does Such Rubbish update?
A: The comic currently updates on Wednesdays. Once I familiarize myself with using a Wacom, the updates might eventually increase to three times a week, but it's all very circumstantial at the moment.
Q: This is going to sound like a cliche question, but why did you decide to make an online comic?
A: This is going to sound like a cliche answer, but I've made comics pretty much my whole life. I started out when I was 7 during school lectures (to keep my friends from dying of boredom) and kept it up all through high school. Doing an online comic just seemed like the next step.
Q: What program do you use?
A: Everything is done in Photoshop CS3 using a Wacom Intuos3.
Q: How long does it take to make each comic?
A: FOREVER. Not really. But almost. I'm not familiar with the Wacom just yet, so one 4-panel strip takes me anywhere between 8-10 hours to complete. This is why updates are currently only once a week! Hopefully once I develop a pattern things will speed up...
Q: Hey, I have a friend who looks just like *random character name here*! Did you do that on purpose?
A: Um...who the hell are you?
Q: Will you link to my webcomic on your links page? Please? What if I agree to link you back?
A: I don't do link exchanges. It's just a policy of mine not to whore anything on my links page that I don't sincerely enjoy (that's what the Project Wonderful ads are for!). But if you have a site or webcomic you think might interest me, by all means, email me the link! If I like it (and you have some premade banners on your site), I'll probably link it :3
Q: Hey, I've got an awesome idea for a comic/story arc, will you do it? Can I at least tell you what it is?
A: No.
Q: I really want to use one of your images for an icon for my blog/forum profile. May I?
A: For serious? *looks shocked* Of course! :D The only terms are that you give due credit and link back to the webcomic.
Q: I have some artwork that I'd like your opinion on...
A: I'd be happy to look at your work! If you have a piece you would like critiqued, just email it to me. However, please embed the image into the email...I don't open attachments from strangers! Also, please do not send "intimate/fetish" art or "furry art". No offense, but it's not my cup of tea.
